Residents in the East Riding are being invited to complete a questionnaire online to find out their level of active recreation and what leisure services and facilities they would like to see in the future.

The consultation will help the council and it's partners to produce a new strategy for sport and active recreation.

Councillor Jane Evison, cabinet portfolioholder for cultural services, housing and public protection, said: "Leisure Services are keen to play their part in improving the health and lifestyle of East Riding residents and we believe the best way to achieve success is to ask what services and facilities they would like to see us providing."

Residents can complete the questionnaire by visiting the council's consultation website at www.eastriding.gov.uk/consult and by clicking the 'sport and active recreation strategy' link. A prize draw will be run for respondents and the winner will be given a voucher worth £50 which they can then use to access facilities at the Leisure Centre.
