Your say on Goole's future

The next meeting of the Goole area forum will take place at Goole Leisure Centre today, Thursday, May 31 at 7pm.

Residents from the Goole area are encouraged to attend the meeting to discuss local issues.

The last meeting brought together ward members, town and parish councils and officers from East Riding of Yorkshire Council to discuss a number of issues, including road safety and anti-social behaviour.

The forum gives residents the opportunity to listen to the discussions taking place and to find out more about the issues that are important to their communities. There is also the chance to take part in a 20-minute public question time.

Kate Bowden, area forums co-ordinator for the council, said: "The forum provides a good opportunity to see how ward members, town and parish councils and officers from the council work together to support local problem solving, encourage partnership working and promote local initiatives."
