Biker fighting for life after smash

Police are appealing for witnesses to an accident on the A63 which has left a motorcyclist fighting for his life.
The accident happened 200 metres east of the westbound services between North and South Cave at 6.45pm last Friday.
A Honda Goldwing motorcycle allegedly overtook two heavy goods vehicles and as the rider pulled back into the inside lane, the back tyre of the motorbike deflated, throwing the rider and the pillion passenger to the ground.
The 47-year-old Hull man who was riding the motorcycle suffered serious head injuries.
He was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, where his injuries were described as life-threatening. As we went to press the man was said to be in a a critical but stable condition.
The pillion passenger suffered minor injuries.
Police were called and the road was closed for several hours. Anyone who witnessed the accident is asked to contact the police on 0845 60 60 222, quoting log 606.
