Reuniting in Snaith this week to mark National Breast-feeding Week were families who have attended the Breast-feeding Support Group, run within the town. (17-05-72 GT)
Parents and children enjoyed fun and games on Tuesday when they met up at Snaith and District Sports Hall.
The group meets every Tuesday morning, from 10am until 11am, at The Marshes surgery in Butt Lane.
A peer supporter from BAPS (Breast-feeding Awareness and Peer Support) and members of the health visitor team are there to inform and support, providing information on topics such as which medications are safe to take whilst breast-feeding, returning to work, and expressing and storing milk.
Anyone unable to attend the meetings can be visited at home or receive support over the phone. For details, contact Snaith Health Visitors on 01405 863194.
