Give the dog a chip!

Published on 24th May 2007 in News

The Goole and District RSPCA is encouraging pet owners in the area to protect their furry friends by taking them along to the next ID-chipping clinic on Sunday, June 3.

The event will take place at Pets Pad on Snaith Road, near Rawcliffe from 10am until 11am. The process involves a small chip with a unique number being inserted under the animal's skin, meaning that cats and dogs can be more easily reunited with their owners if they are lost.

ID chipping costs £15 if you bring one pet, or £12.50 per pet if you bring along more than one. Cash and cheques are accepted.
