A Goole business is celebrating after being presented with an East Riding Council Chairman's Award at a ceremony on Monday night.
Nkl automotive, a vehicle movement company based on the town's Larsen Road Business Park, won the award in the economy section for more than 51 employees.
Guardian Industries UK Ltd, on Rawcliffe Road, and Magnum Services at Glews Hollow were runners-up.
In the environment category, Parkside Primary School were also runners-up, as were Howden Live Arts in the group social well-being category.
The Chairman's awards recognise individuals and organisations who have contributed to the built heritage, economy, environment and social well-being of the county.
The current East Riding chairman, Hilary Saynor, hosted a ceremony with television personality Harry Gration at the Ramada Jarvis Hotel in Willerby.
Winners were presented with a glass trophy; the runners-up received a certificate of distinction.
Mrs Saynor said: "I was extremely impressed by the standard of the entries.
"It was incredibly difficult to choose the winners in each category.
"Everyone who was nominated deserves a big thank you for the contributions they have made to life in the East Riding."
