The enterprising skills of a group of talented Year Eight students from Snaith School paid off recently when they beat off stiff competition from five other groups to become winners of the school's Enterprise in Action awards.
Year Eight pupils from Snaith School spent three half days working with staff from Young Enterprise to develop their 'Enterprise in Action' skills, working in small groups to design and make a unique product.
The winning group, named Voodoo, designed the fantastic board game 'Llama Chess', a new type of board game for all the family that was marketed as being 'fun', 'fab,' and 'llamalicious'.
The finalists presented their efforts to the whole year group and parents, and Voodoo is now expected to move forward to an area competition at Hull University.
