Plans put forward for new cafe and restaurant

Published on 10th May 2007 in News

A planning application relating to a restaurant and cafe at the North Street Retail Park in Goole has been submitted to East Riding of Yorkshire Council (ERYC).

If successful, the application, put forward by Oakgate Group Plc, would see a stand alone restaurant and cafe within the retail park.

But Alison Stewart, property director for Oakgate Group Plc, said this week that the type of restaurant that could be seen on the site has not yet been confirmed.

"This application would add vitality to North Street and Aire Street and would make a positive contribution to the retail park," said Alison.

"The kind of restaurant it would be has not been confirmed at this stage, we are just trying to secure planning permission at the moment."
