Mass yard-sale

Published on 10th May 2007 in News

Gilberdyke St Stephen's Scout Group is organising a progressive garage sale on Sunday, September 23 and is appealing now for members of the public to take part.

If you would like to sell your unwanted items in the comfort of your own home, instead of having to get up early and go to a car boot sale, then this is just the opportunity for you.

The progressive garage sale will involve people in the Newport and Gilberdyke areas all holding a sale on the same day at the same time, and a map will be drawn up with site addresses on, sold prior to the event and on the day. This will cost each participant £10 and all profits will go towards the Gilberdyke St Stephen's Scout Group.

If you do not wish to hold your own sale but have items you would like to donate to the group, these would be very much appreciated as the scout group will hold their own sale at the headquarters.
