Ashes blaze

Firefighters were called to The Ashes Playing Field on Treeton Road, Howden, on Sunday after a large amount of timber was set on fire.

A hose reel was used to put out the blaze, which was started around 5.15pm.

Glenn Ramsden, spokesperson for Humberside Fire and Rescue, said the fire had been started deliberately.
