Walk leaders wanted

The Walking the Way to Health scheme is providing free training courses for people who are interested in becoming volunteer walk leaders in the East Riding.

The scheme, run by East Riding of Yorkshire Council relies on volunteers to lead the free and popular walks and is looking to recruit walk leaders.

The training course will be held on Tuesday 15 May at Goole Leisure Centre from 9am to 4.30pm. A free buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided.
