The offenders allegedly pushed over a security officer who was delivering money to Nationwide Building Society in Pocklington on March 28 and made off with several thousand pounds in cash.

The robbers left the scene in a Saab car, but then got into a white Ford panel van which was found abandoned at the Hygena factory in Howden.

During a police pursuit, one offender got out of the white van and smashed the windows of the officers' car with a large knife. The officer was uninjured.

They also carried out an inch-by-inch search of the premises.

The £5,000 reward, which is offered for information that leads to the conviction and arrest of the men, has been made available by G4S Cash Services UK.

Mr Martin and Mr Williams are believed to have links with Blackpool and Greater Manchester.
