First steps to a slimmer future

Slimming is now a Breeze for Howden residents.
New Slimming World Consultant, Cheryl Alsop, has brought a breath of fresh air to the Howden group.
She has now been running the group for one month. In that short space of time the newly inspired members have lost a staggering 210lbs or approximately 15 stone, that's almost two average people.
At Cheryl's heaviest, she was almost 25 stone. She knows exactly what it feels like to be unhappy with your size. Cheryl recalled: "I can remember once refusing food on an aeroplane telling the stewardess I wasn't hungry, when the truth was that I couldn't get the table down in front of me. That was really embarrassing!"
Cheryl recalls when she first found Slimming World. She said: "I had tried almost every diet around, but nothing had worked and I was dreading giving up my favourite foods like desserts, mashed potatoes and stew and dumplings, but I needn't have worried, I was soon shown how to fit them into the Food Optimising system."
After losing nearly 10 stones, a new, slimmer Cheryl admits that the Tuesday night group is such a support to her. "The people are really friendly and when I found out I had got the position of Slimming World Consultant for Howden, I was over the moon", she said.
If you are unhappy with your weight and would like to join Cheryl at Howden Masonic Lodge, Tuesdays at 6.00pm, she would love to see you, and if you would like to call her on 01430 431157, she will be happy to give you more details or you can visit the website on www.slimming-world.com
