Car vandalised

Police are appealing for witnesses after around £200 worth of damage was done to a car while it was parked in Howden.

The car, a black Vauxhall Corsa, was parked on Treeton Road and the damage was done between 7.45am and 2.30pm on Monday.

When the owner returned to the car, there was a dent and a scratch in the driver's door and the wing mirror had been forced back and smashed.

The total damage was estimated at £200.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or knows who is responsible is asked to call Humberside Police on 0845 6060 222 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting log number 565 of April 16.
