A Goole woman was ordered to carry out an extra ten hours of unpaid work last week when she was found to have breached her community order.
Lauren Barker (20) of Alexandra Street, admitted breaching her 12-month community order when she appeared at Goole Magistrates' Court last Friday.
Miss Barker was given the order after she assaulted a police officer in February this year. As part of the community order, Miss Barker was told she had to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work, but recently failed to attend two appointments.
Magistrates heard that Miss Barker had completed just one hour of unpaid work to date. They ordered a further ten hours to be added to the 79 hours that remain. Miss Barker was not ordered to pay any fines or costs.
