Ebuyer offer £10 discount
Published on 19th April 2007 in News
Ebuyer near Howden has become one of the first UK retailers to use a new online payment processing service launched last week by online search and advertising giant Google.
Google's new Checkout service was launched on Friday, April 13 and works in a similar way to eBay's popular PayPal service by storing shoppers' personal details such as shipping address and credit card number, allowing them to make online purchases with participating retailers simply by entering their Google name and password.
To mark becoming one of the first users of the service on Friday, visitors to the Ebuyer web site were offered a £10 discount on all purchases over £30.
