Student exchange

Published on 12th April 2007 in News

Local families in Goole are being given a unique opportunity to support and enrich their local community by hosting an international high school exchange student later this year.

Intercultural learning organisation AFS is organising an exchange programme in which international high school exchange students are due to arrive in the UK at the end of the summer, and will live with a host family for an academic year.

A spokesperson for AFS said the exchange is an opportunity for people to support and enrich their local community, and learn something about a different culture as well as passing on some of their own.

Any families, couples or individuals in the Goole area that are interested in this opportunity should contact AFS on 0113 2426136 or e-mail uk.hosting@afs.org.
