Jumble sale

Published on 12th April 2007 in News

A jumble sale is to be held later this month in order to raise much-needed funds for the Old School in Blacktoft.

The Old School is 200 years old and is now the only community hall in the parish, so it needs funding to keep it going into its 300th year.

In order to raise money for the cause, a jumble sale is to be held in the Old School on Saturday, April 28, beginning at 10am. Entry costs £1 and all proceeds go to the Old School.

There will be refreshments available, as well as bric-a-brac and produce stalls, and all donations of items for sale can be left at The Joiner's Shop in Blacktoft, ahead of the event.
