Hit-and-run

A Goole cyclist was left cut and bruised after being hit by a car on Pasture Road in the town last Wednesday evening.

The 57-year-old woman was in collision with a blue car at the junction of Pasture Road and Red Lion Street at 5.55pm.

The car driver did not initially stop at the scene and the cyclist suffered bruising, swelling and cuts to her right leg and arm.

She was taken to Goole Hospital for treatment but was not admitted.

Anyone who saw the accident is asked to contact police in Goole on 0845 6060 222, quoting log number 625 of April 4.
