Old Yellow Pages wanted
Published on 5th April 2007 in News
Members of public in the Goole area are being urged to take their old Yellow Pages directories to Focus DIY in Rawcliffe Road in a bid to raise money for a good cause.
The DIY store is collecting the directories on behalf of Reedness Primary School, which is taking part in the Yellow Woods Challenge - an environmental competition run by Yellow Pages, working with the Woodland Trust and East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
The aim of the challenge is to recycle the highest number of old Yellow Pages per pupil and win cash or tree prizes for the primary school. For every £1 that Yellow Pages awards to schools, another £1 will be donated to the Woodland Trust.
If you have an old copy of the Yellow Pages lying around your home, please take it to the information desk at Focus DIY. All copies of the Yellow Pages need to be collected by Friday, April 20.
