Waiting in vain for someone to come

Waiting in vain on her owner’s bed - this cat needs a new home.
The story of Coulak the cat, featured in the Goole Times recently, has had a purr-fect ending and the RSPCA are hoping another tale will end the same way.
Coulak had been in foster care for seven months, but is now living happily with a couple who saw her photo in the paper and fell in love with her.
Georgina Petty, of Goole RSPCA, said Coulak loves her home and even cuddles up to her new owners in bed.
However, no sooner had Coulak been rehomed than the fostering team were faced with another heart-rending problem.
Sadly, an elderly lady has had to go into a home, leaving her beautiful tortoiseshell and white female cat behind.
The cat, thought to be 10 or 11, has been left alone in the house for several weeks, waiting on her owner's bed for her to return.
Her only comfort at the moment is two daily visits from someone willing to go round and feed her.
It now seems that her owner will not be returning to the house and the cat needs a new, understanding home.
Her carers are unsure of the cat's name, but say she is very friendly.
