Sudden death

One of the landlords at the Blacksmith's Arms in Hook died suddenly last week.

Geoffrey Hall, who managed the pub in High Street along with Frank Meanwell until its recent closure, died shortly before 3am on Thursday, March 29. Police said there were no suspicious circumstances
