Official opening of 'Drop-Inn'

The Goole and District Community Group's 'Drop-Inn' is to be officially opened today (Thursday) by Diana Wallis, MEP.

Based at 62 Aire Street, the community group's latest project is to be opened at 12 noon by Ms Wallis, and a number of local dignitaries are set to be present, along with a Media Bus that allows young people to explore musical instruments.

At 1pm, young people from the Positive Activities Group are coming for the afternoon to spend time on the Media Bus and enjoy refreshments.

Goole and District Community Group's main aim is to provide social development opportunities, through individual and group activities for young people aged between 10 and 19 years old. The Drop-Inn provides a comfortable setting for young people, with games, a coffee bar and internet access available.
