Sick of the yobs

Long-suffering residents say that they now have more than 18 months worth of details about youths creating a nuisance in the play area between Western Road and Murham Avenue.
A resident, who did not want to give his name for fear of being targeted, told Goole Town Council in January that youths were congregating in the play area after dark, scrawling grafitti and swearing.
People's property and cars have been damaged by stones, eggs and paintballs, and parents say they are too scared to let their children play there.
Residents fear the problem will get worse now the weather is getting wamer.
Their notes have been passed to the East Riding of Yorkshire Council's anti-social-behaviour team and there will be a meeting on April 18 about the problem. Goole Town Councillors will consider at a future meeting whether commuted sums could be used to install more security.
