'Cobbles' to waiting

Published on 29th March 2007 in News

A number of plant boxes are to be placed on the cobbled area next to Snaith Priory Church after town councillors have become tired of waiting for the ERYC to fund repairs.

The large number of cars parking on the cobbles increases their desperate need for repair, but the ERYC has said that it could be at least 2008 before any work is carried out as the cobbles are not a council priority.

At Monday's town council meeting, councillors agreed that the area would be measured up for a series of planters to prevent cars from being parked there.
