Mobile dentist

Published on 29th March 2007 in News

The possibility of a mobile NHS dentist coming to Snaith has been delayed due to building works at The Marshes surgery which will enable the mobile unit to be linked up to an electrical and water supply.

In a letter to Goole MP Ian Cawsey, made available to Snaith town councillors at their meeting on Monday, Hull NHS Primary Care Trust said that once the building work is completed, it is hoped that the dental service will commence in the near future.

Snaith town councillors expressed concern over the delay, and agreed there appeared to be a 'lack of desire' from the NHS in carrying out this service.
