Eye-opening evening out

Published on 29th March 2007 in News

Howden's Town Mayor is set to go on the beat in a bid to crack down on anti-social-behaviour in the town.

Cllr Ingrid Ridley has agreed to accompany Alison Pearson, PCSO for Howden, on a Saturday evening patrol over the next few weeks, in order to highlight and combat anti-social behaviour issues in the town.

Cllr Ridley said: "Through this, I will be seeing first-hand what PCSO Pearson deals with on a typical evening. If we see any anti-social behaviour taking place, we can approach these people and try to point out the errors of their ways."
