Channel 5 news are celebrating 10 years of TV by asking 10-year-olds to send in a two minute video for their 'Your News' feature.

Matthew McMinn of Pollington did just that and Channel 5 are planning to air the short piece on Friday, March 30, on the 11.30am, 5.30pm and maybe even the 7pm programmes, depending on the days breaking news.

Matthew decided to share with others what it is like to live with a sibling who is on the autistic spectrum, specifically Asperger syndrome.

Asperger syndrome is a developmental disability that affects social and communication skills.

People with Asperger syndrome may behave in unpredictable ways as a result of their difficulty in understanding language and social situations. Matthew's video gives an insight into how these difficulties manifest themselves and the effect it has on the family.

Increasing awareness of the condition helps develop understanding and tolerance of what is often known as 'the invisible disability'.
