A 14-year-old Goole boy was pinned to the floor and robbed of his trainers while walking in Vermuyden School last Thursday.

The boy was walking along a grass embankment at the school at 1.05pm when he was approached by four males, thought to be juveniles.

The youths pushed him to the floor and held him there while they stole a Lidl carrier bag containing a pair of white Reebok trainers.

They then left the scene; it is understood the boy did not suffer any injuries.

The suspects are described as four youths wearing hoodies and jeans.
