Published on 29th March 2007 in News

The occupants of two cars which crashed at Long's Corner in Howden on Friday needed hospital treatment.

The accident, which happened around 6.10pm, left the driver of a blue Ford Focus, registered to a Gilberdyke address, with minor injuries.

He was taken to Goole District Hospital.

The occupants of a red Nissan Almeria were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary.

Goole firefighters swilled away debris with a hose-reel and disconnected the cars' batteries.
