Seen here with teacher Claire France are pupils Kate England, Ben Battle and Reighley O’Neill, who all celebrated their birthdays on the day that the baby chicks were born.
Children at Boothferry Primary School have been learning all about growth after baby chicks were born at the school last week.
A number of eggs have been kept in an incubator at the school for the past three weeks, until last week when the baby chicks hatched.
The chicks have been used as part of a project around the topic of growth, and will stay with the primary school for another week before they are returned to Bishop Burton Farm.
