Driving charges

A Goole man facing a string of serious driving offences has been remanded in custody until the new year.
Gary Durrant (27), of Weatherill Street, has pleaded not guilty to allegations of driving while disqualified, driving without insurance, dangerous driving and drink-driving.
He appeared over the video link system at Goole Magistrates' Court last Friday and the case was adjourned until January 12, when it will be committed to Hull Crown Court for trial.
There was no bail application made on behalf of Mr Durrant so he was remanded in custody until January 12.
