Mobile dentist

Published on 14th December 2006 in News

Plans for a mobile dental surgery in Snaith took another step forward this week as the Primary Care Trust visited the proposed site at The Marshes.

The site visit took place on Tuesday after doctors and staff agreed that the car park at the surgery could be used to site the temporary practice, which would operate for one day a week until March, 2007.

This period would be used to ascertain the demand for an NHS dentist in Snaith before a decision is made on the continuance of the mobile dentist or the commissioning of a general dentist practitioner to be based permanently in Snaith. The result of the site visit was not known at the time of going to press, but all parties were confident of a positive outcome.
