Glorious Britain for all to see
Published on 4th September 2008 in Letters
Sir -
Last week I watched a Military Tattoo at Edinburgh. All the military bands and uniforms were magnificent and you can only see it in Britain!
Now sir, that would be a very good opening ceremony at London's Olympic Games. Work seems to be going on nicely in Pasture Road but it will be nice to walk straight down Pasture Road.
New arts centre in Beverley, will I be paying for it?
E. Firth,
Western Road,
Goole.
