Well done to the HHAG

Sir -

Congratulations to Holland House Action Group (Goole Times, issue August 14). What a victory, so much hard work and perseverence by this worthy group, four years of grim determination, sometimes seemingly against all odds, but they steadfastly refused defeat ad now the home will remain (just as it should) a haven for the elderly and sick, the community can rest at night, the children safe from any possible harm, what a team, because it is all due to them. God bless with good health all. Best wishes to the new owners. (We golden oldies) I am 86 years old and my beloved wife, 84 years, have always referred to the Westfield with affection, our loved ones being cared for there. Now it will shine again like a beacon of warmth and loving care, a new name and a new start. Good luck.
