Sir - Apologies to anyone who is fed up of hearing about 'dog dirt', but this is slightly different.

Every day we get dog dirt on our lawn, on the grass in front of our house, etc. But here is the 'different' bit: one day there was pile of 'poo' on the top of our gatepost.
