Good show!

Published on 28th August 2008 in Letters

Sir - At last I am writing this letter with no doom and gloom!

I have been watching the Olympic games on BBC TV and I though they were very good indeed. I am very pleased to see all the medals we have won.

My biggest trouble was I didn't seem to know many of them. Maybe we will see more of them now on our local TV? My biggest thrill was seeing a British girl win the first gold. It seemed a good omen for the rest. I bet people who don't like sport kept having a little peep at our good athletes.
