Old news from council

Sir - No doubt, like many other television viewers, the number of repeats on television become annoying, but now ERYC have joined in with their own edition of 'Have I got Old News for YOU?'

Having waited for the stunning progress from Sally Burns on the development of Richard Cooper Street and Phoenix Street in Goole, we get the same rehash of "We are seeking a developer and reserve the option to use Compulsory Purchase Orders."

For goodness sake, is this the best they can do? How much do these people earn, and are we really getting 'best value for money'? Come on, you can do better than this.
