Win tickets for a visit to the Dungeon

Published on 7th August 2008 in Letters

This summer, why not take a step back in time and travel to the dark depths of the dungeons of Knavesmire Prison at York Dungeons, where murderer, thief and torturer Dick Turpin is incarcerated as he waits for death at the gallows.

Suddenly confusion hits as you enter your worst nightmare; a pitch-dark cell, a murdered guard and a sadistic killer who wants his revenge… in blood! With real history, horror and humour, York Dungeons brings gruesome goings-on back to life.

The dungeons invite you to a feast of fun with history's horrible bits. Live actors, rides, shows and special effects transport you back to those black, bleak times.

Tickets to be won

We have four family tickets to give away for the dungeons, which admit two adults and two children this August.

Simply answer, Who does the dungeon feature?

The tickets can be used at York, London, Ediinburgh, Amsterdam or Hamburg, answer with name, address and daytime telephone number to Emma Franklin, 102 Boothferry Road, Goole, DN14 6SN or send an email to emma.franklin@gooletimes.co.uk by midday next Wednesday (August 13).
