Spend funds on access road

Published on 17th July 2008 in Letters

Sir - I would like to voice my concern over the way the people who are responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the access road and car park at Ings View, Gilberdyke.

As a manager of a junior football team at Gilberdyke myself, parents and visiting teams do use the road and the car park over a period of at least nine months of the year.

I therefore find it very hard to believe that funds have been diverted to a project that is years away from being started, instead of maintenance that in my opinion is essential immediately.
