What's going on with town streets?
Sir - I heard a joke about a builder who built a tower, only to find he'd got the plans upside down and should have dug a well.
I think the same thing has happened in Goole. The tarmac intended to fill in all the potholes has been piled at the ends of Gordon Street, etc. Why are they there? As a traffic-calmer? Surely, when coming to a corner from either direction, drivers are slowing down anyway.
Also, who was responsible for painting the white lines in Pasture Road prior to the resurfacing? No one has learned anything, as the last time it was resurfaced the same thing happened. Have we an excess of white paint in Goole? Or is it me?
