Sir - Many thanks to the Goole councillors who voted for the Sixpenny Wood windfarm at Balkholme - unanimously.

What right have they to impose their will on the parishioners of Laxton, Klipin, Eastrington and Gilberdyke?

Our family have lived in Balkholme for 56 years and as far as we can recollect have not seen any of them to discuss planning proposals or any applications in the past.

It would be helpful that in future they kept their comments specifically for their own wards.

We believe that democracy used to be a fine thing in Britain and something we all need, but is appears we are heading for a dictatorship.
