Old fire station is in use
Published on 17th January 2008 in Letters
Sir - Perhaps Councillors Drury and Dykes should check their facts before claiming that the old fire station in Howden is not being used for the benefit of the community.
The 1st Howden St Peter's Scout Group currently use the building and have done so for a number of years, to store all their camping equipment and other large miscellaneous items, the local youth group also use the building to store some equipment there as well.
If either of these gentlemen or other members of the Town Council would like to get in contact with me, I would be glad to show them around.
