Thanks to vital workers

Published on 28th December 2007 in Letters

Sir - A letter of thanks and appreciation to all those who face all weathers and are called out on different occasions - I wish them all a Merry Christmas and all the best for 2008.

People such as rubbish collectors, postmen, the police service, ambulancemen, firemen, doctors and hospital staff - well done and a special 'thank you to them all.

Not forgetting Stuart, who still carries on the good work at the Goole Community Warehouse.

Stuart is a fantastic man, he is willing to help all people, and is friendly and always smiling.

The four good drivers who help Stuart are very friendly, and they have all done a lot for charities in Goole.

So, here is wishing Stuart and staff a Happy New Year. I hope the work will carry on, and a very special 'thank you' for keeping our club going, The Wolds Community Centre in Cheviot Avenue.

M. Eyre (Mrs)

Bournville,

Goole
