PO closure 'disgraceful'

Published on 28th December 2007 in Letters

Sir - My, my, didn't Goole MP Ian Cawsey look serious in the Goole Times over the disgraceful closure of the Westfield Post Office with the comments: "We were told that this was a genuine consultation that would look at all the facts but it looks like all our efforts were simply dismissed."

Hang about, isn't his boss, the Rt Hon Gordon Clown (you remember him, the financial wizard who sold most of Britain's gold reserves at rock bottom price and robbed every working man and woman of their retirement) ...oops, sorry, not their solid gold pensions, yes, that unelected Prime Minister who promised us all that we would have a referendum on the EU constitution but simply dismissed us all by by calling it a treaty?

People in glass houses, Mr Cawsey, should keep their mouths shut.
