Stars in their eyes

Published on 28th June 2007 in Letters

Sir - I write to congratulate Vermuyden School for a fantastic evening of entertainment. The annual Stars in Their Eyes has become one of the main events in the school calendar, and this year's line-up was spectacular.

The atmosphere in the audience was absolutely electric – it's not often you get to see your history teacher become PINK. All the performances were greatly received which made for another truly memorable foot stomping night.

Thank you to all the staff, performers, organisers and Mr Simon Cowell himself – a great evening for a great cause.
