Sir - On behalf of the committee of the Goole Branch of Yorkshire Cancer Research, and through your newspaper, thanks to the people of Goole - and especially those who shop at Tesco - for giving so generously when we collected at Tesco's last week.

A total of Â£820 was collected and I can assure you it will be used in Yorkshire for the people of Yorkshire. Many, many thanks again to everyone - especially the collectors.
