Thanks to police for their help
Published on 5th April 2007 in Letters
Sir - I am writing this letter in appreciation to the police, Pc Noels and Pc Porter, about an incident in which someone was phoning at about 2.15am. I panicked and rang the police and they were really good. It was very quickly sorted out and they reassured me everything was all right.
It turned out that the phone call was an emergency call for a lady who wanted a doctor and had dialled the wrong number. I only wish I could have spoken to her and got help quickly. I hope she is all right. Also I thank my son Tony for being quick and comforting me.
What I really want to say is that the police and their telephonist should be recognised for the help they gave, they were very efficient and quick. Thank you.
