Great turnout to loco evening

Published on 29th March 2007 in Letters

Sir - Could I once again thank the Goole Times for publishing my letter of last week regarding my search for information on Goole Engine Shed.

At the event run by Goole Library last week an amazing 83 people turned up, lots of them with information and photographs for me to use. I must apologise to all those who brought things for me to see that I had no time to look at, it really was that busy.

A big thank you should go to Sarah, Jen and their staff at the library for organising and running the event (another one. please).

It was great to see old and new faces, some from quite far afield. Thanks to those who took part and to those who contributed some great stuff.

A real 'hit' for Goole Library and East Yorkshire Council.
