Vandals still active

Published on 29th March 2007 in Letters

Sir - I remember some time ago several letters from readers complaining about the vandalism taking place in Goole on an evening, especially around the Marshfield Avenue area.

I'm not sure whether this is still happening in this area but it would certainly seem that they have either moved on or expanded their reign of terror to the Kingsway area. My car and several others down the street have been systematically scratched over the past two months. Where do these morons get off vandalising other people's property? I'm so sick of it I've taken to installing a cctv camera to catch these idiots, seeing as the police can do nothing about it despite the fact that every act of vandalism has been reported.

Perhaps, when I get a picture of these brainless hooligans, I will post it around the area for identification and hopefully recoup some of the money lost on fixing my vehicle over and over again in the small claims court.

Let's hope these pathetic excuses for human beings are not your children, or you may be having an expensive summer.
